I lifted her gently into my arms, then carried her up the stairs to my room.
I tilted my head. "Like... spontaneously kissing me on the cheek?"

I cuddled up close to him. I loved his warmth and everything.

"Lucian...." I sobbed softly and then tears poured down my cheeks. I was shaking as I cried hard into his chest.
I nodded and kissed him gently again.

"Crystal..." I could briefly remember that it had started this way last time - with me comforting her, but I couldn't help it. I hugged her gently.

I sobbed harder into him. I hated all of this pain... All of the pain I had held in... It was all hitting me hard at once...
