"I won't." She smiled sweetly. "But no promises about your big brother's head. Then again, it's probably too thick to shatter." She unexpectedly launched a cup at him, which he easily dodged and caught it one hand, eyebrows raised. Sorina rolled her eyes. "I figured as much."

Solana waved disinterestedly, watching Sorina launch a cup at the werewolf's head. "Wow," she sighed, shaking her head, "I knew humans were brainless, but this is.... just wow."

"Not worth it. His freakin' instincts are too good." She plopped down. Lucian laughed and leaned back, putting his arms behind his head. Sorina was still for a couple of minutes, then randomly turned and launched one of the glasses at him. It broke against his skin and left a gash on his arm. Lucian leaped up, staring at shock at the blood. "OW! Naido roista!" he cursed in some language known only to him. Lucian tended to swear colorfully in other languages when he was really upset. "What the hell, Sorina?" "Oh, stop being a baby." She chewed on a piece of pizza and watched the television. "You know you asked for it." Lucian hissed. "Bolva," he spat, vanishing into the kitchen.

Solana's eyes widened, then lost all emotion, watching Lucian dash into the kitchen. Sorina sat there calmly, apparently unfazed.
If she wasn't a human, we'd be friends, she thought dryly, staring off into space. She hadn't had many friends... and they were all dead. She had killed them all, for killing her parents.
Well, technically they didn't kill them. But they were humans, and that was close enough for her.
Solana's eyes flashed a dark green at the memories, and she exhaled on a deep sigh. She was lonely, but vengeance was a lonely road, there was no room for friends.

Shadow smirked "wow borther that was rude, for one I don't think she is those words, but thanks for getting rid of those ugly crystal glasses."

Lucian stalked back in a black mood, a makeshift bandage wrapped around his arm and muttering profanities under his breath. "I'm rude," he muttered. "I'm rude, when she just threw a glass cup into my arm..." Sorina just smiled wider and propped her feet up on the edge of her chair.

"Uh, I would have transformed into a wolf and gotten out of here ages ago. If I could run like this." "Get over yourself." Sorina sighed and rolled over so that she was sitting next to him. "Lemme look at it." "You going to inject poison?" "No. I used to hang around doctors. I learned a couple things. Let me see." She gently pulled off the bandage to inspect the wounds, and rolled her eyes. "It's not even deep, ya big baby. Shadow, do you have any sort of cleaning fluids?"

"The little psycho vampire girl?" Lucian said dryly, gently probing the slash in his arm. Sorina disappeared briefly into the bathroom, returning with a bunch of disinfectants and bandages. She treated the werewolf's wound gently, wrapping the cloth around when she was done. "There. I'll give it three days, max, since werewolves probably heal faster than normal people." "You're bipolar." She raised her eyebrows. "Um... how so?" "Well, you sliced open my arm with a glass, then healed the same wound." She rolled her eyes and shoved him gently, then padded back over to her chair.

"Yeah her, I'm her new mentor. Why have you seen her? And thanks Sorina."

"It does feel better." Lucian sighed. "Thanks, Sunny," he muttered grudgingly. Sorina shrugged dismissively and focused on the television, and Lucian turned back to Shadow. "Anyway, what makes you think that little creep is going to accept mentoring?"
