Name: Kalista Price
Gender:Female
Species: Human
Age: 17
Relatives/family: N/A
Personality:
Kalista Price seems like a normal high school girl. New to the town, she has built her reputation as being a friendly, smart, athletic girl quite easily. She is rather well known, once you see her face you'll never forget her, and gets along with just about everyone. Kalista isn't one of those flouncy, preppy cheerleaders by any means, despite that fact that she is quite popular. Around most people she puts up a sort of protective front, hence the nice, popular girl act.
In all truth, Kalista hates the attention, while at the same time craving it. She doesn't enjoy the company of her so called friends, and hates school and most social activities with a vengeance. She is a free, independent spirit with a naturally sarcastic disposition. Kalista is also a rather skilled actress, probably the only reason that she's made it this far in life without someone seeing through her facade. She can be cold and rather dark, with a passion so strong it could get her anywhere. She is a fighter up until the very end, and has a quick, sharp mind. Her aloof personality easily masks her true, darker self, and Kalista prefers to keep it that way.
Appearance: Kalista doesn't lack in the looks department whatsoever. With her delicate looking build and slight frame- she's only 5'4" -she simply draws people in. She has high, slanted cheekbones and delicately arched eyebrows, full lips and a slim, athletic build. Despite her china-doll appearance, she has an iron will, and that delicate little doll is reinforced with steel.
Her rich brown hair is long, thick, and lustrous, and many girls are envious of her because of it. Kalista has never really had much patience with her hair and usually only bothers to brush it in the morning, and nothing else. When it is down, which is the case more often than not, it frames her heart shaped face and catches the sunlight, turning it different shades of red, gold, and brown. When her hair becomes to much of a bother, or she is agitated, Kalista will often tie is up in a low ponytail.
Kalista's eyes truly are a window into her soul, if only your were to look hard enough. Most people however, only see their rich, blue color, the color of the ocean, of the sky, of the richest sapphires. They are bright and a mix of aqua and teal, rimmed in dark navy. Hidden deep within their depths though, where only the very most attentive of people would ever notice, the scared, lost and hurt girl that she really is lies in hiding behind a feirce fire that flickers deep within.
History:
As a child, Kailsta grew up in a rather wealthy family with two sisters and two brothers. Caught in the middle, she was often the one who got in trouble for another sibling's actions. Her mother was either of two things: Distant and unreachable, or far too involved with every little thing. Her dad was a wealthy buisnessman who was gone away on business trips more often than not. He was a very commanding man and got angered easily, so if he was home and something went wrong that Kalista was blamed for, she was beaten. One night when Kalista was 13, her father gave her a particularly bad beating, sending her into a coma for nearly two weeks. When Kalista woke up, he was gone. Over the next few years, she learned that her father had gone to a small town called Amenia, and got killed. Her mother instantly hated the place, swearing to never go within a 100 mile radius of the place. Kalista, barely 17, saw her chance to escape, which would ultimatly mean survival. Taking the money from her bank account, a few bare essentials, and her brother's motorcycle, Kalista fled to Amenia. After about a week, she had found a house and gotten registered for school. Being very attentive, Kalista soon learned the town's secret, and immediately realized what had happened to her father. She knows that he is alive, but is now what most would call a monster, though Kalista would argue that he always has been. Kalista vowed to take revenge on her father, no matter the consequences.
