[glow=green,2,300]One[/glow] You may have as many characters on your account, GRANTED that you keep up with all of them. If you start falling behind with certain characters, you will be warned and then asked to put extraneous characters in the adoption board. If you refuse, the inactive character will be moved for you. That said, I recommend starting with only one or two characters and adding more as you need them. If you wish to kill off or turn (as in change the species) of a charactere, you must first message Angel or I and, of course, arrange it with that character's roleplayer. This is not to inconvenience you, and you need not wait for approval; we simply need to know if we need to change or move your character's bio.
[glow=green,2,300]Two[/glow] Absolutely powerplaying or godmoding! This means that another player's character should not have any action in your post unless you have approval from that person. This extends to making assumptions - i.e., the other person's character is in love with yours - that are not stated out right in the text. Also, in roleplay with powerful fantasy characters, it can be tempting to give them a bunch of powers until they are practically larger than life. This is fine, but don't make your character more excessively powerful than the others, as this is annoying to other roleplayers. The most powerful form of godmoding is invincibility, where your character fights flawlessly in a battle with someone else's character and never reflects damage no matter what the other character does. This is extremely annoying - everyone gets hurt sometimes. Angel and I are very strict about this rule in particular, and if we think someone is doing it repetitively and on purpose, we might ban you. So don't do it!
[glow=green,2,300]Three[/glow] NEVER copy a character from some supernatural book or movie you've seen. It is very annoying, it's known as plagiarism, and it reflects back on you as an ignorant copycat who doesn't even have enough creativity to create their own character. Sure, we won't always be able to tell or recognize if you're stealing a character from one of the literally thousands of books and movies out there. But why do it? We'll find out eventually, and then we'll just be angrier for your deception.
[glow=green,2,300]Four[/glow] STAY ACTIVE! If you disappear for more than a month without any posts or anything to explain your absence, you will be emailed and PMed a warning. Failure to respond to either for the next two weeks will result in account deletion. There's a board for "Going Away", peeps. NOTIFY US! Inactivity will not be tolerated.
