Sorina
Sorina took in a long, steadying breath, slowly and calmly running through various solutions in her head. One of the very few advantages of being the cold zombie girl that she had been for ten years was that it allowed her to look at situations such as these logically. Analytically. Obviously the fact that she was captured by vampires automatically ruined most escape ideas. If it was just insane Lacey, she might have been able to hope for a sloppy rope-tying job or something, but it seemed that Ebony and Lacey had teamed up, and Ebony was a lot more calculating. So sneaking away was out of the picture. So was fighting; she didn't even have to think that one through. Crap. This is going to be harder than I thought, she thought, grinding her teeth slightly.
Lucian
Lucian stalked through the woods slowly, phased into his wolf form. He moved close to the ground, ears flat against his skull, tail swishing across the ground slightly. He smirked slightly, a very human expression, creeping along silently. He was one of the biggest wolves around, yet also one of the most silent and stealthy. His blue eyes narrowed to slits as he caught sight of the appropriate prey - a small white rabbit, hopping not two feet from him. A dry, cynical smirk curved onto his canine features, and then he lunged, ending the kill in a minute. He wiped the rest of the blood off his face as he padded through the city, casually casting his gaze around, looking for something that might catch his eye and provide entertainment for the rest of the day.

Dawn walked up behind Lucian. Erm..What to say...! "Lucian, have you seen Sorina?"

He turned to face her and chuckled slightly, pushing his dark hair out of his eyes. "Why would I? She avoids me when she can... which she usually can't."

Dawn bit her lip nervously. "Well she said she went to the libary, and that was like three hours ago. So I was sitting there and started to wonder what happened, so I called them. They said they hadn't seen her. And now she's no where to be found."

He smirked and shrugged. "So she disappeared. It's not that uncommon... and besides, she's the most capable human girl I know. I'm sure she's fine."

Dawn was tired and she wanted to go home. "Look you dummy. She never goes any where and stays gone for long with out calling me. We are all each other's had for years. She just doesn't dissapear. Freaking Jerk. Either you help me find her or just sit here and hate the world."

He raised his eyebrows. "I don't hate the whole world, just this freakin city." Still, he was speaking even as he rose calmly to his feet. He raised his eyebrows at the younger girl, setting off a wild and somewhat disturbing twinkle in his blue eyes. "So what's the plan, shorty?"

Dawn frowned. "for one home dog, I'm not a shorty, and two I have no freaking Idea. Maybe that big ego of your's could..I don't know team up with your brain and come up with one."

Lucian
He smirked again. "I don't know, and I'm not bothering to think about it because I know she's fine."
Sorina
Sorina stopped trying to work a way out of the ropes and froze the second she heard soft, barely audible footsteps in the hallway. The light, somewhat prancing quality of it made her think, Lacey, and sure enough she saw the long red hair and undeniably pretty face that she despised so much. "Sunny!" Lacey said, smiling brightly - the creepiest part was that she did seem honestly delighted. She flitted to the side of the bed, wearing a smile that would have been cheerful on anyone else, but only reached disturbing on her. "Don't you ever get tired of continuously harassing Lucian and me?" Sorina asked dryly, realizing that she still wasn't scared. She must be some sort of freak. "No." Lacey smirked. "It wasn't my idea this time, though..." "Right. The one who I talked to... who is she?" "So Crystal and Lucian never told you, hmm?" A quiet, cold voice came from the doorway. Sorina turned automatically, automatically shuddering the moment her gaze met with the other vampire's cold green eyes. Doing her best to cover her sudden, unexpected fear, Sorina said calmly, "They were a little... preoccupied." She smiled coldly, although it didn't even touch her eyes. "Well, allow me to introduce myself. I'm Ebony Markus... Lucian's mother." Sorina closed her eyes, feeling her head spin. Well, crap.

Dawn slapped Lucian. "Son, don't tell me there's nothing wrong. Me and her are sisters and I can just feel it in my bones something bads gonna happen, and if it does...it's gonna be YOUR head on a gold mantel above my bed."

He laughed, looking more amused than anything else. "You're going to behead me now? That's a new one." Seeing her narrow her eyes, he smirked and quickly added, "I'm perfectly willing to help you, provided you come up with some sort of a plan..."

"Just because you are stupid and have the brain of a two year old, doesn't mean you are getting out of the plan making. So get off your lasy but and march to Shadow's house where we can talk to Crystal and Shadow and whom ever else."

His eyebrows went up. "Now you want me to work with my brother? That's barely short of idealistic..."

Dawn Smirked. "Heres some advise, cry me a river, build me a bridge, and get the heck over it for me. Mostly for Sorina."

He laughed. "You really are stubborn... it's hard to believe you and Sunny aren't blood. Anyway, I'd give up on getting me to work your brother. You know the two of us aren't exactly... compatible."
