Name: Lacey Collins Gender: Female Species: Vampire Age: Seventeen Age of appearance: Thirty-five Relatives/family: Shadow (brother) Personality: Defying her name – a name associated with sweet, girly girls – Lacey is downright nasty. She’s gorgeous and she knows it – and she uses her looks for vampire purposes. She’ll approach some random guy and act utterly charming – until they’re away from civilization, and in the dark. From there, the rest is obvious. She enjoys extracting blood from innocent humans, and not just to survive. She revels in the taste, and their absolute terror before they die. She’s an absolute psycho – in the very worst way. Lacey is also extremely manipulative, and not just when it comes to vampire killings. She can sway anyone to her side, even those not impressed by her feminine beauty. She’s not very smart when it comes to books, but she is very cunning. She makes excellent plans (especially revenge plans) although she sometimes finds it hard to execute them herself. Which is where another trait comes in – her excellence at forming powerful, beneficial alliances. Part of the reason she still survives is because she realized she was getting nowhere as a human, and formed one such alliance with a vampire who changed her and taught her the ropes. He was killed soon after, of course. Appearance: A huge contribution to Lacey’s successful manipulations – at least among the male population – is her looks. The girl is movie-star gorgeous. She has dark red hair that she tends based on what she’s doing. If she’s just moving from place to place, she leaves it down; if she’s preparing to trick someone into a feed, it’s curled or pinned back with a hairclip or bow. No one suspects a girl named Lacey who looks every bit as sweet as her name belies of being a vampire – and even more psycho than most of her species – and on the hunt for a kill. No one who isn’t ultra-paranoid suspects Lacey at all. Naturally, she has a slim feminine figure. Before she was transformed into a predator - automatically making her much stronger and faster – she was very dainty and weak. She still appears so, at least on the surface – she has a miniature frame and walks on her toes, like a ballerina or pixie. She has incredibly intense blue eyes that contribute to the majority of her good looks. They’re the same color as sapphires, and as deep as the ocean – and like the ocean, drowning in her eyes as so many are tempted would be a very bad idea. A fatal one. History: It becomes very clear, very quickly, to everyone that Lacey has some powerful connection to vampire Shadow and werewolf Lucian. Exactly what that connection is, however, seems to be known only to them. In actuality, Lacey is Shadow’s sister – which, in theory, should have been a good thing for him, having one person there for him when Lucian was gone for months. But it was quite the opposite. Growing up, Shadow just never saw eye-to-eye with his older sister – they were complete opposites. Each found the other despicable. As stated, Lacey tended to seek revenge against those she despised – and when she one day grew absolutely sick of him for good, she talked to his parents, who were already planning to do something to their son; they were just unclear on what. Lacey was the reason Shadow was locked in the basement and tortured – sometimes she joined in, for entertainment. Complete and total psycho. But Shadow is not the only one with whom she shares a rich history. Lucian was gone for seven months, undergoing troubles of his own. Two months after his disappearance, his personality was completely transformed. It was then that Lacey found him. Both were bitter, and kind of psycho – and had common interests. In a way, the two developed an odd sort of relationship – odd, because neither of them really cared what happened to the other. One day, however, Lacey let slip that Shadow would soon be dead, not expecting that Lucian would still care about his little brother. She followed him as he rescued Shadow (a process that caused his transformation into a werewolf), and she was standing there when he learned what happened. In a black rage against the family that had done this to Shadow, he slammed her into the wall and ran. He was gone by the time she woke up and Shadow’s parents returned home. When she recovered from her concussion, Lacey was furious, and plotted revenge. She was determined to hunt down Lucian and make him suffer for what he had done – still, he had always been powerful, and now he had being part wolf on his side. There was nothing she could do – except form a useful alliance. She did so with a vampire she found at the edge of town, convincing him to change her. As soon as he consented and taught her the basic ways of living as such a creature, she killed him. Effortlessly, in fact; murder was something that came naturally to her now that she was strong enough to pull it off more successfully. It took only four months for her to discover Lucian’s location, and now she has promised to make him suffer, starting with the girl he cares for most: Sorina.
If there was ever any doubt that I had a dark mind, this should expel it. GEEZ. I can't believe I pullled that character purely from my imagination! Still, although it's a type of character I should hate, I can't hate my own charries... if I do, I kill them off quickly. And Lacey is interesting to me.
