The Strange Boy- Crystal Wright

I got home and started cleaning. Everything had to be nice and clean. I fixed the kid's room again, making sure everything was perfect. I saw the clock, it was 5:00 a.m. I wasn't getting any sleep. I had an hour before the kid got here. I sat down on the couch and watched some TV. My eyes became very heavy. I had to stay awake, but I couldn't help drifting off...........
I heard a knock at the door and immediately woke up. I stood up, fixed my hair, and walked over to the door. I opened it to a tall, hot looking, 17 year old, boy. My eyes were wide with shock.

I was extremely happy to be here. I had heard so much about the great female wolf, Crystal. As I walked up the steps, my heart was pounding. I couldn't help, but smile as I knocked lightly on the door. "Hello! I'm Mathew Connors! Nice to meet you....um....Miss?" The blond girl who was staring widely at me, looked very young for a legend....

"Nice to meet you Matthew. You can call me Crystal. I am a year younger than you, I suppose." I said smiling at him a little flattered that he called me Miss. In a way he seemed really excited to see me which was weird. A human boy like him probably wouldn't notice easily what I really was. I just had to be carefull with the way I acted around him. Otherwise he would find my secret out quickly. "Come on in so I can show you around."

I stepped in the house and smiled brightly at the younger girl. She was pretty cute, but not his type. "Thank you for inviting me in." She seemed suprised by something.

"It's no problem. Me, you, and my sister are the only ones who live here. It stays pretty quiet. Except for when I have friends over. You might not want to mess with guys. The girls are all nice. I have to worn you my sister is easily frightened so don't take it personally if she's a little afraid of you." I said to him leading him up to his room. "And here's your room. Second biggest in the house." It was actually supposed to be my parents room. I wouldn't dare stay in there. I pointed out the bathrooms and everything to him, and left to my room to get dressed for school.

He walked to her door and knocked. "Crystal, do I need to get dressed for my 1st day?" I asked, confused. He had always attended school with his mom helping prepare him.

"Um....hold on one sec'!" I called from inside my closet. I hadn't finished changing yet. I got the rest of my clothes on and opened the door. "Yeah, I mean just wear what you would for school at home. School is school, no matter where you're from. Just something casual but stylish." I said looking into his deep eyes. I could sense that what I was saying wasn't helping much so I just said, "Let's see what you've got." I walked into his room and over to the closet. It was full of bright clothing. The darkest thing he had were some faded blue jeans. I looked through everything finally finding the perfect outfit, and I handed it to him. "I'm gonna finish getting ready. Call me if you need help with anything else." I said walking away. He was cute, but I already had so much drama I could handle with the guys I liked and I didn't need much more.

"Thanks!" I said, pulling off my shirt and shutting my door. I slipped on the jeans and brushed through my shaggy brown hair. She was very sweet and welcoming. I finished getting dressed and grabbed my bag. I walked downstairs, confident.

I finally finished and walked downstairs seeing Matthew standing there with Rose. She seemed a little shy, but not so nervous around him. "Okay Matthew, you have two choices. You could ride the bus with Rose, or walk to school with me." I said even though I guessed, since he's human, that he'd rather ride the bus.

"Walk." I answered atomatically. "Sorry, Rose..." I smiled at the other younger girl. She seemed a little shy, but I wanted to help her realize she shouldn't be shy around me.

"Well, we will catch you later then, Rose." I said as her bus pulled up. She left out the door. "Now I guess we should head off too. I need to talk to my friends any ways." I said as I grabbed my stuff and walked out the door.

I followed her outside. "Mind if I walk with you?" I asked, a little distracted.

{Meanwhile: Fate}
"Wake up, Fate!" I felt someone shaking me. "I'm up! I'm up!" I said, sleepily to Thomas. "Get dressed! We're going to have to get aunt Marian to drive us." I groaned at his words. "Fine. I will." I told him as I scrambled up. He left my room and I went to my closet. I pulled out a simple black dress and purple stockings. I put on my fuzzy robe and padded to the bathroom me and Thomas shared. He was out, so I went in. I got dressed and then brushed my long hair. I grabbed my bracelet off the usual hook in the cabinet. I slipped it on and put on lip-gloss. I rushed out the door and almost smacked into Thomas. "I'm driving." I nodded and rushed back to my room. Amity was snuggled up on my pillow. She was fast asleep and adorable. I kissed her soft head and grabbed my boots. "Almost ready!" I shouted down to Thomas. I slipped on my shoes as I walked down the stairs. "Let's go!" I said grabbing my schoolbag and Thomas' arm, pulling him out the door.

"Yeah, as long as your fine with my friends. I must worn you people at our school aren't normal." I said walking my usual path to school. "No one who lives here is really." I murmered to myself, only werewolves or vampires could hear something that low and soft. There was no way his human ears could hear that.

"Well of course no one's really ever normal." I muttered softly. "So are there alot of wolves here?" I asked curious.
